As Women’s History Month draws to a close, learn how to celebrate your business’s status as Women Owned with a diversity certification. Becoming certified as a women owned business is about so much more than being able to attach the colorful "women owned" logo to your business card. It's about opening up doors to a network of thousands of other women entrepreneurs and hundreds of corporate and government partners looking to work with women-owned businesses.

Women’s Business Enterprise Center East and the U.S. Small Business Administration, in partnership with Temple Small Business Development Center, present this webinar covering the ins and outs of Women Owned certification. We’ll discuss the multiple diversity certifications that are available, and focus specifically on SBA’s WOSB and WBENC’s WBE certifications.

We will cover:

  • The eligibility requirements so you can know if certification is right for you
  • The process, costs, documents required and what to expect
  • The benefits and opportunities available to certified women owned businesses

This webinar will be beneficial to anyone interested in certification, whether you're just exploring the idea or you're already in the process of applying.

Speaker(s): Colleen LaCoss, WBEC-East Certification Manager; Jennifer Tilden, SBA Business Opportunity Specialist
